WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS :
In this Shipping and Receiving Clerk role, you manage the flow of goods and ensure product quality from start to finish. Responsibilities include gathering documentation, packing items for shipment, inspecting incoming materials, and maintaining safety compliance during loading and unloading. You keep an accurate inventory of shipping supplies, perform parts cleaning, verify counts with a digital scale, and enter shipment details. Additionally, you prepare weekly shipment reports, generate purchase orders, follow up with vendors, and handle expedited shipping requests while using various computer functions for tracking. Collaboration with the Shop Foreman and Customer Service is essential, and you report to the Quality Manager. You may also assist with manufacturing and facility maintenance as needed.
