Job Title : Occupational Therapist Contract

Location : New York NY

Shift : MondayFriday 9 : 00 AM5 : 15 PM (37.5 hrs / week)

Pay Rate : $35$40 / hr

Position Overview :

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Occupational Therapist Contract for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York NY .

Key Responsibilities :

Plan organize and conduct occupational therapy programs in a hospital setting.

Evaluate patients physical and mental capabilities and develop realistic rehabilitation goals.

Select educational recreational and social activities to enhance daily living and work skills.

Document therapy activities prepare progress reports and maintain patient records.

Train and educate caregivers to support patients during and after therapy.

Recommend modifications to patients work or living environments.

Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other disciplines to coordinate therapy.

Participate in health promotion programs and social activities to support patient adjustment.

Assist physicians during clinic sessions and correspond with insurance companies for adaptive equipment approvals.

Qualifications :

Active NYS Occupational Therapy license.

NBCOT certification preferred.

02 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.

Knowledge of principles and procedures for diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation.

Strong interpersonal skills patience and the ability to inspire trust in clients.

Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential Required .
