Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Diagnostic Imaging Sonographer to perform vascular testing with at least 1 year of specialty experience and a valid compact or ME license.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in a vascular testing unit
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week with variable shifts
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • Applicants must reside 100+ miles south or southwest of Bangor, Maine for consideration
  • Candidates who have previously worked as a permanent employee at any Northern Light Health Hospital are not eligible
  • Work as part of a diagnostic imaging team focusing on vascular procedures
  • No travel pairs may be submitted for the same position
  • Flu vaccinations offered onsite; medical exemptions must be submitted at least two weeks in advance

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Sonographer in vascular testing
  • Compact or ME state license required if applicable
  • References : 2 within the last year, with at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge
  • Copies of all certifications and a valid driver's license required for consideration
  • Flu vaccination required for start dates of 9 / 30 / 2024 and beyond, with only medical exemptions considered upon proper review
