Gastroenterologist opening in Myrtle Beach, SC - Stipend + sign-on, Advanced GI welcome

Seeking BE / BC Gastroenterologist to join talented team due to patient need and expansion.

• Current team of 5 GI’s and 3 NP’s.
• Expanding their endoscopy area at the hospital and will have 3 full updated rooms.
• 4 weeks wait time for new patients.
• Full time position – Monday thru Friday
• 36 Patient Contact Hours – 4 Admin Hours / week
• 1 : 5 Call – Consult Only Service - No Admissions
• Consults and rounding a done by the physician on call.
• 75 / 25 split on clinic lab / endoscopy
• 11 - 12 Patients per day for procedures; 20-25 per physician seen in the clinic
• Each physician has their own designated RN for support
• 5000 cases per year in the endoscopy area – 500 inpatient / 4500 outpatient
• 150+ ERCP and 200+ EUS annually and growing
• Cancer Center is affiliate with Duke Health Network, which allows for cancer cases to stay in network and local to the area versus referring.
• Candidates can do a general GI practice, but there is also demand for ERCP and EUS procedures / advanced endoscopy if desired
