Position Summary

The Stewarding Supervisor position reports to the Director of Operations (BOH) with responsibilities to include purchasing inventory control scheduling and managing culinary staff food safety program cost of goods accountability labor management food production and quality control.

This role pays an hourly rate of $27.00 - $30.00

McCormick Place Convention Center located in downtown Chicago is the largest and most flexible convention center in North America. With over 2.6 million square feet of exhibition space the campus proudly hosts some of the worlds largest and most prestigious conventions meetings and trade shows welcoming approximately 3 million visitors to Chicago every year.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Equipment

• Responsible for distribution tracking and recovery of equipment needed to execute Restaurant and Concessions.
• Coordinate timely repairs of food service equipment.
• Maintain and secure equipment assets in good repair.
• Dispose of damaged equipment and recommendations for new.

This position will work with limited supervision and will require the ability to interact with all levels of staff including management. Requires ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
