Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services, health / recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Position : AM Line Cook
Status : Part-Time (20-29 hours per week)
Department : Kitchen
Reports to : Executive Chef / Sous Chef
Responsibilities :
- Prepares and cooks meals for members and guests.
- Maintains established food quality standards and consistency of menu items.
- Sets up workstation, maintains cleanliness of work area, and monitors food temperatures.
- Adheres to state sanitation standards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements :
Minimum 6 months of related work experience.Must have excellent knife skills.Must have familiarity with duties in all areas of the kitchen and the ability to multi-task.Must have knowledge of culinary terminology and understanding of the fundamentals of cooking.Formal culinary education is preferred.Must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.Pay Range : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
