• Customer Service Representative  Location : Tyler, TX Department : Sales Support / Customer Relations Classification : Full-Time, Exempt (Salaried) Position Overview The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a key role in supporting the company’s sales efforts by serving as a vital link between internal departments and external customers.
• This exempt, salaried position is responsible for managing all aspects of customer orders—from order initiation through to final invoicing—while delivering exceptional service and proactive communication throughout the process.
• Key Responsibilities Manage customer orders by preparing accurate documentation and support materials that clearly define order requirements.
• Respond to customer inquiries—including requests for quotations, order status updates, and general product information—in a timely and professional manner.
• Serve as a liaison between assigned Sales Representatives and customers to support business needs and ensure clear, consistent communication.
• Maintain regular communication, both written and verbal, with internal departments and external customers.
• Update and maintain Job Status Reports to reflect the current state of active orders and pending projects.
• Identify and communicate customer needs, trends, or potential improvements to processes and services.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to confirm availability and procurement of materials required for customer orders.
