Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Technical Program Manager :
- Develop and implement comprehensive program plans that align with technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of technology solutions.
- Lead a team of project managers through all phases of the technology project lifecycle, including scope development, requirements gathering, and project solution design.
- Oversee project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools, manage financial budgets, and ensure effective risk and issue management.
- Facilitate change management and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks, implementing contingency plans to maintain project momentum.
Required Skills for Technical Program Manager :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management, particularly in large organizations.A college degree in a related technical or business field, or equivalent work experience.Proven track record of successful project management, with certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Six Sigma being advantageous.Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), including Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) and Demand Management.Ability to manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.What's in it for you?
