job_description.job_card.job_descriptionLead the development and launch of the Hemodialysis program / department Oversee and direct certifications required for nursing staff Participate in interviewing and hiring support staff for the program Provide clinical care to post‑transplant and dialysis patients as needed Serve as the sole provider for a predominantly nursing home‑level patient population, including individuals with dementia, distal muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injuries, and other low‑acuity medical needs Collaborate with administration to customize equipment and support program growth Ensure adherence to facility policies and clinical best practices Active Rhode Island medical license required Board certification in Nephrology required Experience with starting a Hemodialysis program or department is essential No ICU responsibilities; facility does not maintain an ICU Patient population is largely adult / geriatric, with a focus on long‑term care needs Strong compensation Travel‑related expenses covered A‑rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
