Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,300 to $2,500 per week in Lexington, KY

Pay Information

$2,300 to $2,500 per week

About The Position

3 -4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday night)

NIHSS, ACLS, BLS required

Strong Neuro Experience Required

Previous travel experience required

• Airway management
• Management of vented patients
• Artline management (Preferred for ER)
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Central line management
• Management of IV drips
• Isolation precautions
• Triage skills (ER / ER Holding only)
• Computerized documentation
• Nurse to patient ratios 1 : 1-2+
• NIH
• Interpretation of ABGs
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Continuous IV sedation
• Titration of IV vasopressors
• 1.5+ years of recent experience
• Management of patient with multisystem organ

dysfunction / failure

Experience with : fempops, CEAs, post thoracic surgeries, post cranis, neurosurgeries

Extraventricular Drains (EVDs)

Lumbar Drains

CRRT

Arctic Sun

Ventilators

BIS Monitoring

Experience with : fempops, CEAs, post thoracic surgeries, post cranis, neurosurgeries

Strong Neuro Experience Required

Previous travel experience required

3 -4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday night)

Travelers must be more than 75 miles from the facility

Floating : travelers may float to different unit- Note :   as needed per census. If pulled to another ICU, still only take 2 patients. If pulled to a telemetry unit, only takes 3 patients.
