New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our Employment & Life Skills Program (SPARK Program) . If you are someone who can serve as a positive role model while supporting, guiding, and encouraging youth and young adults as they build their employment and life skills, we would love to meet you.

NHCC provides outpatient services across the Valley, including locations in Chandler, Tempe, Glendale, Phoenix, and Casa Grande.

Established in 2001, NHCC has developed a programming structure that challenges, encourages, and empowers clients to enhance their self-esteem and modify their behaviors in order to become productive community members. Clients participate in activities, groups, and life lessons that help them assess their internal strengths, capabilities and improve decision-making skills.

Our experienced staff guides each client in building a strong foundation to benefit them as they develop the skills to reach their fullest potential in an ever-changing and expanding world. Must Haves :

  • Must meet the minimum state licensing requirement for Behavioral Health Technicians or Para Professionals

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience working with at-risk or behavioral health care with youth, teens, or adults
  • Valid AZ Driver's License with no restrictions
  • APPLICANTS MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE CRIMINAL HISTORY SELF-DISCLOSURE AFFIDAVITS AND OBTAIN AN ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (DPS) UNRESTRICTED LEVEL 1 FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD, WHICH INVOLVES A STATE AND FEDERAL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.
  • All positions at NHCC are safety-sensitive, as defined in ARS 23-439. Therefore, the company prohibits the use, sale, manufacture, distribution, or possession of alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, medical marijuana, or drug paraphernalia on any and all segments of the company premises, company-owned vehicles, or personal vehicles used for company business or parked on company property. NHCC is a drug-free zone with zero tolerance for violators.

    • Salary :

  • $23.00 - $27.00 per hour based on education and experience in the behavioral health field

    • Benefits :

  • Access to our fleet of company vehicles, staff do not transport clients their personal vehicles.
