AMADA’s Caregivers provide :

Care to our clients at a professional level

Companionship and conversation

Assistance to seniors to help with their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and toileting

Light housekeeping / laundry / meal prep

Transportation

Medication reminders

AMADA's ideal caregiver will have :

A true passion for caregiving and a desire to help others

Pride in providing excellent client care and customer service

Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature

Ability to work independently and follow care plans

Willingness to provide and accept constructive feedback

Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably with seniors

Clear background check and references

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance

CPR and First Aid certification (or complete within first 30 days of employment)

Service Area :  Danville, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Moraga, Berkeley, Piedmont, Oakland Hills, Emeryville, Albany, Valle Vista, Eastport, Orinda, Rockridge, Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, Castro Valley

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and transfer clients safely.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Stamina to stand, sit, and engage in physical activities for extended periods

Visual and auditory acuity to monitor clients' well-being

Non-Medical Care (Toileting, Bathing, Dressing, Ambulation, Transportation, Meal Prep, Hands-On Feeding, Companionship, Transferring, Lifting, and more)

Working Hours :

Working hours may vary based on the needs of the client. This role may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
