Special Education Teacher

Our client is looking for a Special Education Teacher in the Nashville, TN area!

Location & Schedule

Location :  Nashville, TN 37207

Start Date : August 28

End Date : December 15 (with potential extension into second semester)

Hours : 32–35 hours per week

‍ Role Overview

Special Education Teachers will :

Manage a caseload of students with special needs

Provide direct support to help students grow intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially

Guide Lead Teachers to ensure compliance with IEPs and student support plans

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Special Education and ELL regulations

Develop entry / exit processes for student services

Design and implement RTI processes for behavior and academics

Qualifications

Tennessee teaching license with Endorsement 145 or 461

K–12 Special Education Endorsement or enrollment in a job-embedded prep program

Bachelor’s degree (conferred)

Must pass a Criminal Background Check
