Summary :

TheProjectManager–LTOwillreporttotheSrManager–PipelineProjectsandsupportstheLiquidsWestDivision. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage, direct and complete pipeline maintenance repair projects, facilitymaintenancerepairwork,andcapitalrepairandreplacementprojects.Primaryfocusisthemanagementand

directionofcontractinspectionandconstructioncrewsintheeffectiveandefficientcompletionofmaintenanceandcapital construction projects.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities

  • Requires “hands on” management of field projects, contract inspectors and construction crews to ensure that pipeline integrity, construction and maintenance projects are compliant to safe work practices, conform to all company procedures andspecificationswithstrictadherencetoalllocal,stateandfederalrules,codesandregulationsandarecompletedinan efficient and safe manner.-Responsible for developing, organizing, and maintaining project scopes, project work plans, project timelines, constructionschedules,constructionrecords,projectcostestimates,contractnegotiationsandissuance,andbudgetary control to ensure projects are completed in an efficient and safe manner.-Vetting,contracting,training,andmanagingconstruction,integrityandweldinginspectorsrequiredtoinspect,controland document pipeline repair projects.-Identifying and Coordinating with other departments including the PLI group, Division Engineering, Operations, Commercial,Scheduling,Regulatory,EHS,etcasneededtoensureprojectsarecompletedinanefficientandsafe manner.-AssistwithExpenseandCapitalBudgetdevelopment.-Asneeded,additionalfunctionsmaybeassignedtomeetcompany’sbusinessneeds.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+yearsofexperience
  • Previouspipelineconstructionandmaintenanceexperienceinexcavating,welding,certifiedweldinginspector,and pipeline repair methods.
  • MustbefamiliarwithallapplicablecodesandregulationsincludingUSDOTCFRand,API,ASME,ASNT, OSHA, and NACE.
  • Must be familiar with the following liquid petroleum pipeline practices : in-line inspection, pipeline construction, pipeline repairmethodologies,hydrostatictesting,excavation,trenchsafetyandshoringtechniques,pipelineanomalyinspection, pipelinegasfreeingandisolation,nitrogendisplacement,hotwork,LOTO,weldinginspection,permittingandgastesting during pipeline repair work.
  • Utilize,understand,andadheretocontractsandagreementswithinscopesofwork.
  • Excellentcommunicationskills(verbalandwritten);goodcomputerskills;theabilitytointeractwellwithpropertyowners, municipal, state and federal agencies at all levels.
  • Mustbeaself-starter,havegoodorganizationalskillsandbeabletoacceptconstantlychangingpriorities.
  • Mustbeateamplayerandwillingtoassistoutsideofowndiscipline.
  • AbilitytoacquirenewjobknowledgeandskillstoperformaswellassupporttheLTOManagerinhis / herabsence. Preferred Qualifications :
  • PriorSupervisoryorManagerial experience
  • ProjectManagementProfessional(PMP)Certification

WorkingConditions :

Theworkenvironmentcharacteristicsdescribedherearerepresentativeofthoseanemployeeencounterswhile performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Thispositionisrequiredtolivewithin45minutesofthereportinglocation.
  • Thispositionisrequiredtocarryacellphoneandissubjecttocallout24hoursaday,7daysaweekforemergency response, extended work hours and / or work weeks.
  • Usually,normalofficeworkingconditions.Mustbeabletoremaininastationaryposition50%ofthetimedueto prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
