Senior IT Project Manager

Position Summary :

Lead project teams to design and implement new applications and systems or enhance existing ones, delivering projects that meet scope, schedule, and budget while adhering to Intuitive’s playbook and standard project tools.

Requires strong written and verbal communication, exceptional presentation skills, and a results-driven focus.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Manage one or more small to medium-sized, moderately complex projects within defined start and end dates, scope, budget, and performance objectives. Ensure all project deliverables are completed and documented.

Exercise independent judgment and discretion related to project execution. Lead projects typically between $100,000 and $5,000,000. Gather, define, and document project requirements.

Clearly define and communicate roles, responsibilities, and expectations for project team members.

Plan and maintain project tasks and schedules to deliver on time and on budget.

Creatively solve complex project challenges. Conduct project kick-offs and phase gate reviews.

Ensure team members have the tools and training to perform effectively.

Record, track, and communicate issues, risks, changes, and status following PMO standards.

Drive all project tasks and work streams to completion.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.

Monitor critical milestones identify and mitigate risks and issues.

Proactively address risks and issues per procedures.

Assess performance and implement changes to keep projects within budget, schedule, and scope.

Communicate status to stakeholders and leadership accurately and timely.

Develop and maintain productive relationships with sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders.

Prepare complete and accurate project documentation.

Qualifications (Minimum) :

5 years’ experience managing moderately complex IT product / software development projects Strong verbal and written communication effective presenter

Advanced understanding of project management principles and methodologies

Experience in a PMO as Project Lead or Project Manager on medium to complex projects

Advanced PM knowledge and technical competence.

Desired :

Experience managing projects for facilities and / or physical security

Experience implementing or upgrading collaboration tools (Zoom, Office 365, Slack, Box, Lucid)

Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet, Anaplan) understanding of IT roles and responsibilities

Experience managing resource plans and balancing across projects and programs PMP certification (PMI).
