Nondestructive Etch Trainee (3rd Shift)

Element has an opportunity for a Nondestructive Etch Trainee to join our growing team. To conduct daily Etch tests in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines.

Salary : $22.50 - $25 / hr DOE

Hours : 11pm to 7 : 30am

Responsibilities

Conduct daily Etch logs in accordance with written company procedures

Process parts per Element procedures and / or specifications

General knowledge of chemical processes performed at EMT

Conduct chemical additions

Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition

Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner

Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent

Etching metal plating experience a plus

Familiar with testing codes and standards

Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events / projects in the community

Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities

Well developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs
