Job Summary

DRS NPS has an immediate need for a Subcontracts Administrator to conduct proposal preparation, subcontract negotiation, and administration of complex subcontracts. Develop subcontract specifications, requirements, statements of work, and terms and conditions for the procurement of materials, equipment and services in support of multiple contract types. This is a primarily work from home position with local travel to our Fitchburg, MA facility when required for business reasons including all hands / quarterly meetings, vendor travel to our facility, customer engagement on site, training / teambuilding activities, etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct proposal preparation, subcontract negotiation, and administration of complex subcontracts
• Develop subcontract specifications, requirements, statements of work, and terms and conditions for the procurement of materials, equipment and services in support of multiple contract types.
• Provide strategy and recommendations to internal staff and subcontractors on procurement issues
• Select or recommend subcontractors
• Evaluate proposals and monitor company performance on subcontract obligations.
• Prepare contractual documents, including the preparation of subcontract terms and conditions, and assemble
• subcontract documentation package
• Coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
• Negotiate and administer agreements between the company / customers / subcontractors / vendors ensuring adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements
• Monitor subcontract performance on government contracts
• Respond to standard inquiries regarding subcontract obligations and revisions
• Maintain effective internal and external customer relations
• Perform special projects as requested
• Train internal staff on subcontract-related topics
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend Leonardo DRS' mission, values and culture

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

The salary range for this position is ($85,600-$122,408). This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to : Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education / training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for : annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
