DEFINITION :
Provide classroom instruction to college students through lecture, demonstration, laboratory exercises, handouts, responding to questions, and testing.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED :
- Receives direct supervision and / or technical direction from the program director and department chair
- Exercises no supervision

Essential Functions :
Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to studentsPrepare lesson plans and schedule classroom activitiesDevelop and prepare supplemental materials to enhance textbook lessonsDevelop and prepare tests to evaluate student performanceMaintain a grade record of individual scoresProvide classroom demonstrations on material, technique, and various equipment and machinery; develop laboratory assignments to provide hands-on experience as appropriateMaintain accurate records of student attendance and performanceMaintain material and supply inventories for the course(s) taughtMaintain and submit all required paperwork in a neat, accurate, and timely fashion, including but not limited to class rosters, registration forms, pay sheets, attendance forms, and grade rostersOther Important Functions :
Be punctual and professionalSupport a friendly working environmentWork cooperatively with other faculty members to coordinate shared facility areas and suppliesAssess the relevancy and impact of various lessons and recommend improvements as neededOversee and participate in field studies and assignments; travel with students to provide assistance and instruction as appropriatePerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedThe successful candidate will maintain and participate in the continued development of the studios and assist students during class as well as during studio / lab hours.Qualifications

Minimum Education / Training :
MFA or equivalent degree in Game Design or Digital Arts orMS in Computer ScienceMinimum Experience :
Proficiency in one of the following skills : Game Design, 3D Modeling, Animation, coding (specifically C++)Experience using Unreal Engine 5 a plusPreferred Education / Training and Experience :
Prior experience teaching college-level coursesExperience working with students of culturally diverse backgroundsSupplemental Information
