Wealth Paraplanner
The Wealth Paraplanner is responsible for managing the overall financial planning process supporting multiple regions and business lines. Key responsibilities include facilitating the financial planning process with prospective and current clients, gathering and analyzing detailed information to create or update financial plans, serving as the primary point of contact for the client, managing client access and maintenance of software systems, establishing referral paths to other areas of Wealth, Banking and Insurance, and working with team members across geographies to ensure efficiency and a consistent client experience.
Job requirements include a bachelors degree and minimum two years of experience in financial services or a related field, strong analytical, project management, technical and financial skills, experience in financial planning software, and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or ChFC designation preferred. The role requires regular independent problem solving, exercise of judgment in variable situations, outstanding technical skills, attention to detail, and superior communication skills. Understanding and strong working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to effectively utilize Wealth and Bank applications are also required.
