Job Summary :
Coordinate machine and attachment activity. Ensure rental fleet machines and attachments are capable of a safe and successful rental.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for coordinating and processing both inbound and outbound movement of machines and attachments on a daily basis
- Responsible for completion of initial check-in of machines and attachments to include –
Documentation of machine hours and fuel level
Verification unit’s manual is presentTake pictures of each unit – noting obvious damageNotify Service Department and Equipment Manager immediately of any damage identified on a unitAdvise Equipment Manager of unit arrival – provide check-in informationEnsure unit is clean, safe and rental readyPark unit in appropriate area of the yardResponsible for completion of check-out process to include –Verification of equipment / serial number against shipper
Take pictures of each unitConfirm manual is presentConfirm appropriate attachment(s) are includedAssist / load for shipmentUtilize tablet for both check-in and check-out processesLocate and store machines and attachments in a neat and organized mannerResponsible for identifying status of each unitExercise each unit on the yard periodicallyPerform consignment inspectionsResponsible to ensure yard and tracking devices are present and working on each unit (RFID)Provide information when requestedOther tasks as requested by managementEducation / Experience / Skills :
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalentBasic computer skillsAbility to operate a wide range of equipmentAble to work with minimal supervisionSkilled at prioritizingBasic technical aptitudeGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and to meet deadlinesAble to work overtime on a regular basisAble to climb on and off equipment and to walk all dayPhysical Demands :
