IT Systems Administrator

As we continue to grow we are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.

IT Systems Administrator :

The IT administrator is responsible for deploying and actively managing IT end-user systems and other related IT hardware / software in order to support day-to-day operations. This role is also helps define cloud based and on-prem architecture and support of IT Operations.

This is an onsite position in Gainesville VA.

Primary duties within varied scope of work and expectations will range from :

• Plans and executes technical support requirements both contracted andincidental
• Provides technical support for installing repairing andmaintainingpersonal endpoint devices (desktops laptops tablets mobile) and related software / hardware (device agnostic)
• Resolves issues and problems within individual and group hardware andsoftware
• System administrative duties for various cloud based and on-premsystems
• Trains andmaintainsresources to execute customer supportactivities
• AV / Video conferencing support
• Monitoring and incident resolution
• Handles escalation on delayed / unresolvedproblems
• Work with third party support teams to resolveissues
• Formulates andmaintainsinformation Security Protocols
• Establishesmaintains andmonitorsproper backup and securityprocesses
• Maintains SLA performanceparameters
• Defines hardware standards; defines end userpolicies
• Actively manages end-user and other IT systems including hardening reporting patch management etc.
• Installs tests and configures new workstations peripheral equipment andsoftware
• Maintains inventory of all equipment software and software licenses
• Manages PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware images andsoftware
• Performstimelyhardware and software upgrades asrequired
