Pay Rate :  $18-26 / hr (Depending on skills, education, experience)

Must Haves :

• LADC or CADC Certification ( or exceptions for bring 1 year away from completing cert)
• 1+ years of experience as a TEAP Specialist / Addiction Counselor
• Bachelors degree in psychology or related field
• Active drivers license

Job description :

Insight Global's client is looking for a TEAP Specialist / Addiction Counselor to join our clients team. The counselor will support students who have not passed the drug and alcohol test upon entering the program. Key responsibilities include leading a 5-6 week program, facilitating group counseling sessions, conducting individual sessions with students, and assisting with exercise classes throughout the program. The role involves close collaboration with Nurses, Mental Health Counselors, and the Multidisciplinary Committee to ensure students receive the necessary support to graduate. Additionally, the position may require transporting students to off-campus appointments as needed. This is a fully on-site role, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
