Officer, Security K-9 Unarmed

Summary Statement : The Security Officer, K9 will ensure safety and security to Resorts World property utilizing K9's. K9 Handlers will respond to potential emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances on property. Primary Job Duties : – Includes but is not limited to : Maintain the health and safety of Resorts World K9 Maintain the upkeep of K-9 Kennels and Transportation Kennel Respond to unattended packages alert security management if needed. Respond to emergency situations. Work closely with law enforcement personnel to ensure safety to the property. Prepare written incident reports and documentation. Operate company vehicles. Complete a 40hr Security Academy within 30 days of hire. Pass quarterly K-9 training and yearly certification. Knowledge of Radio calls / Manage emergency calls. Use personal device / cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Qualifications : Includes but is not limited to : Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays and Black outs. Preferred : Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting. Minimum Education and Experience : High School Diploma 3 years previous K-9 handling experience. 2 years previous experience in military, law enforcement, or K-9 handling in a similar or related field. Certificates, Licenses, Regulations : Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Ability to obtain the following : Nevada Gaming Registration Nevada Driver's License Alcohol Awareness Card Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to sprint and run under emergency situation with K9. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. Prolonged standing / walking. Bending and reaching. Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs. Eye / hand coordination. Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.
