We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Billing Clerk to assist with basic billing and invoicing tasks. This position is perfect for someone looking for a low-stress, easy-to-follow role that can be done from home. You'll work with simple billing software to help ensure clients receive accurate invoices and payments are processed on time.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and send basic invoices to customers using billing software or templates
Review simple billing information for accuracy (e.g., dates, charges, client details)
Update billing records and maintain digital files
Communicate with customers via email for minor clarifications or follow-ups
Assist with tracking and logging payments received
Report any inconsistencies or issues to the supervisor
Follow standard company procedures for all billing tasks
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or billing software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good written communication skills (for email responses)
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Reliable internet connection and computer
No prior billing experience required – training provided
Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or billing role
