The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure team is looking for a Senior Employee Relations Manager to join our team, someone who innovates & shares our passion for winning in the cloud marketplace. As Senior Employee Relations Manager for our global data center operations in Abilene, Texas, you will act as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on leader—managing your own caseload of complex ER matters while guiding and developing a team of Employee Relations Consultants. You’ll play a critical role in fostering a respectful, compliant, and high-performance workplace culture in a 24 / 7 mission-critical environment. This role will report to the ER Director leading the organization aligned partnerships and will focus on managing employee relations initiatives across OCI with a team of ER professionals reporting directly to this role.

Work Environment & Requirements : This role supports a 24 / 7 data center operation, including interaction with teams across day and night shifts throughout the calendar year. The position requires a consistent on-site presence at our Abilene, Texas facility and is subject to access protocols—including biometric data processing for identity verification and secure site entry.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of ER Consultants supporting data center operations; proven ability to lead by empowering others—driving results through talent development and individual growth.
  • Provide case consultation, quality assurance, and escalation support for high-risk or sensitive matters, while driving consistency in ER practices across sites and honoring applicable nuances.
  • Drive talent development efforts in support of OCI managers. Manage the development, deployment and execution of business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Employee Relations Casework

  • Manage a personal caseload of complex ER issues, including investigations, performance management, policy violations, and conflict resolution.
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, HR, and line of business leaders to resolve ER matters with consistency, compliance, and business alignment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Partnership

  • Analyze ER trends and provide actionable insights to business and HR leadership.
  • Support proactive initiatives to reduce risk and improve employee experience (., manager coaching, policy education, ER training).
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ER programs, policies, and tools.
  • Build trust and alignment across all levels of the organization through clear communication, strong interpersonal influence, and sound decision-making—enabling effective collaboration with leaders, managers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Operational Excellence

  • Data driven mindset with proficiency in HRIS / HCM systems, and related reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure ER case tracking systems are updated and accurate.
  • Monitor and report on key ER metrics (., case volume, resolution time, themes).
  • Champion continuous improvement in ER processes and service delivery.
  • Business travel as needed.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR / ER experience, including 3+ years managing direct reports.
  • Experience supporting hourly, shift-based, or operations-focused workforces (., data centers, manufacturing, logistics).
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex ER investigations, conflict resolution and performance matters in a fast-paced environment, high-accountability environment.
  • Strong knowledge of . employment law; global experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to take direct ownership of interpreting data and using data to influence decision making.
  • Experience developing and improving HR processes and initiatives at scale in support of talent management strategies and business drivers.
  • Experience leading cross functional initiatives impacting a line of business level management population. Critical thinking and ability to translate process to operations and actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with a range of HR colleagues in support of business impacting initiatives and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certification (., PHR / SPHR) preferred.

    Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

    US : Hiring Range in USD from : $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    8. Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
