Job Details :

• Work day shifts with 4x10 schedule from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM
• On-call requirement : 1-2 call days per week starting at 5 : 00 PM weekdays
• Call weekend requirement : One weekend every 5 weeks (48-hour call from Saturday 7 : 00 AM to Monday 7 : 00 AM)
• May need to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio : 1 : 1
• 8-hour orientation required
• Must wear hospital-issued scrubs
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Extensive skills required including robotic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, trauma surgery, orthopedic procedures, and various surgical specialties
• Guaranteed hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Free parking available with distributed parking pass
• Average of 4 hours of non-billable modules completed pre-start
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

This acute care hospital features 304 staffed beds and 9 operating rooms providing comprehensive surgical services. The facility offers advanced surgical capabilities including robotic surgery systems, trauma care, and multiple specialty services. The hospital maintains modern equipment and technology, utilizes Epic charting systems, and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
