Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting our wholesale distribution operations by delivering exceptional service to customers and assisting with order management. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities :
- Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Process and manage sales orders for services and installations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Schedule service appointments and installation times while coordinating with builders and customers.
- Update and maintain order information in the Service Works system.
- Collaborate with team members to address customer needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other web-based portals to manage data effectively.
- Respond to email correspondence promptly and accurately.
- Take detailed notes and actively learn company systems and processes.
- Provide friendly and goal-oriented customer interactions to maintain a positive experience.
Requirements :
Previous experience in customer service or call center roles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with web-based portals.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
