We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead our automation projects and enhance our control systems.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Rockwell PLC programming and a proven track record in industrial automation solutions. This role will involve designing, implementing, and testing control systems to optimize performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of control systems for various automation projects
  • Program Rockwell PLCs and develop HMI / SCADA interfaces
  • Conduct system integration and commissioning of control systems in industrial environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems and provide technical support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance system performance
  • Document system designs, configurations, and maintenance procedures
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in automation and controls

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering with a focus on Rockwell PLCs
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages including Python, C#, and C++
  • Experience with HMI, SCADA, Ladder Logic, and other control system software
  • Familiarity with CFD, Ignition, Machine Vision, FactoryTalk, and industrial robotics is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts
