Pay Information

$2,100 to $2,300 per day

About The Position

A reputable healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon for locum tenens coverage during July . The assignment will primarily involve hospital-based general surgery , trauma coverage , and inpatient consults . While the focus is on inpatient and surgical care, occasional coordination with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) managing office-based patients may be required.

Responsibilities :

24-hour  general surgery and trauma call coverage

Manage  hospital surgical consults

Perform a range of  general and trauma surgical procedures

Role Details :

Call Shifts :  15–20 shifts (24-hour coverage)

Average Surgical Cases per Day :  10

Patient Age Group :  Adults (18+); pediatric cases are referred elsewhere

EMR System :  Epic

  • Surgical Support : Well-trained and experienced OR staff, proficient in robotic and standard general surgery techniques

Operating Rooms Available :  10

  • Board Certification
  • Active Ohio License
  • BLS / ACLS / ATLS
  • 12 Months of Case Logs
