About Us

Blend Indoor Outdoor and Anita’s Garden Shop are two connected, design-forward retail shops specializing in timeless furnishings, décor, and garden arrangements. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented social media content photographer to capture high-quality images and video content for our website and social media.

Job Summary

As a Social Media Content Photographer, you will photograph pre-styled vignettes, products, and marketing content in both shops. You’ll receive a weekly shot list and direction from our Marketing Team and Lead Designer, ensuring each image aligns with our brand aesthetic. You may also be asked to capture onsite or offsite lightbox and styled product shots for online listings.

All content created will remain the property of Blend Indoor Outdoor Inc., though you may use images in your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Photograph pre-styled vignettes, displays, and products weekly (1–2 days / week, 2-4 hours at a time).

Capture images and short video clips for social media reels, feed posts, email newsletters, and website content.

Coordinate with the Marketing Team and Lead Designer on shot locations, styling, and product focus.

Occasionally photograph products on or offsite or in a lightbox for clean, white-background in addition to styled product shots.

Deliver organized, high-quality images and video files to the Marketing Team in a timely manner.

Requirements

Working experience in photography, preferably in social media, lifestyle, product, or retail content.

Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and styling.

Comfortable shooting both still images and video content.

Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule.

Provide your own camera equipment (i.e. a capable iPhone is fine!).

Ability to follow shot lists and direction carefully.

Schedule & Compensation

Weekly on-site shoots (flexible, but ideally same day / time each week).

Additional shoots occasionally as needed.

Hourly rate : $15 / hr+ (based on experience).

Contracted position with flexible scheduling.
