We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the successful execution of ground-up and renovation construction projects within the K-12 education sector . This position requires a highly motivated professional with proven experience delivering school projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage all phases of assigned K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and owners to ensure project objectives are met.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor scopes.

Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and daily field operations.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and contractual standards.

Lead weekly project meetings and maintain clear documentation and reporting.

Support project team with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.

Foster positive relationships with school districts, clients, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with a strong emphasis on K-12 school construction .

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proficient in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

Preferred :

Experience with public school district procurement processes and working in occupied campuses.

Familiarity with local Houston-area school districts and municipal permitting.
