Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Adelphi is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide care to students at a residential training facility in Devens, Massachusetts (MA). The physician will be responsible for providing direct medical care to students in the facility. The ideal candidate will have a valid, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license. Job Quick Facts : - Ref# : BD-822-01 - Profession : Physician - Specialty : Family / Internal Medicine - Location : Devens, Massachusetts (MA) - Facility Type : Student Residential Training Facility - Job Type : Contract - Coverage Type : Clinical - Schedule : 6 hours per week for 23 weeks - Contract Term : 23 weeks - Start Date : 2 / 17 / 2025 Requirements : - Active MA License - BC / BE - DEA certificate Responsibilities : - Conduct medical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and provide referrals for specialized care. - Coordinate and administer immunizations and manage the detection and control of communicable diseases. - Implement protocols for the prevention and management of infectious diseases. - Monitor and support the continuation of care for students receiving external medical services. - Develop, implement, and monitor health and wellness programs to support students' wellbeing. - Advise the facility staff on medical and health-related matters, including staffing, medical separations, and patient care. - Oversee ordering, safeguarding, and accounting of health equipment, supplies, and medications. - Review health policies, monitor expenditures, and adjust as necessary to maintain budgetary compliance. - Issue and update Health Care Guidelines in line with organizational and state requirements. - Other duties as assigned by the facility's administration.
