Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team supporting mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or high-availability industrial facilities. As part of a leading electrical contracting firm, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems that are essential to continuous operations.

This role demands a technician with a strong understanding of electrical systems, control logic, and the precision required in environments where downtime is not an option.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

• Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors, as well as control devices.
• Read and interpret electrical, instrumentation, and control drawings (P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring schematics).
• Work closely with electricians, project managers, and commissioning teams to ensure system integrity and operational readiness.
• Configure and troubleshoot control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and DDC systems.
• Perform loop checks, signal testing, and commissioning tasks in accordance with QA / QC protocols.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
• Document work through daily logs, redlines, and as-built drawings.
• Respond to emergency calls and support 24 / 7 uptime requirements as necessary.
