Senior Manufacturing Engineer
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes and procedures to drive operational excellence. You will leverage your expertise in materials, tooling, and process flow to define build sequences and ensure product quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and build sequences based on a strong understanding of materials and fabrication techniques.
- Evaluate equipment and tool performance to verify efficiency, reliability, and alignment with production requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues related to tooling, process capability, and production inefficiencies through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to provide feedback on design concepts and specifications, ensuring manufacturability and optimal use of available equipment and methods.
- Operate within a Model-Based Engineering environment using platforms such as 3DX (3DEXPERIENCE) and iBASEt Solumina to develop digital work instructions and manage process documentation.
- Support cross-functional initiatives to improve cycle time, cost, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations.
- Provide periodic off-shift support as needed to sustain production and ensure continuity of operations.
- Travel periodically to other sites or vendors for technical support and integration activities.

Bachelors DegreeAero Aircraft or rocket sub-systems assembly and or integration / installation.Manufacturing assembly work instruction authoring and work planning.Hands-on or Support production floor experience.Review of engineering technical drawings and models / designs with respect to design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) considerations.Secret Clearance required to apply AND the ability to obtain and Maintain Special Program Access prior to start.Desired Skills :
STEM Degree with 5+ years of experienceAircraft fuel and hydraulic systems.Wire harness and interconnect installation / integration.Development / prototype / first article program support.CNC machining working knowledge.3DX / Catia V5 software usage.PLM and ERP software proficiency.Works effectively within cross-functional teams and with external partners / suppliers.Direct ownership and support of specific manufacturing operations as well as interface with production employees.Security Clearance Statement :

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
