Staffing Scheduler

Skilled Healthcare Center -

A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in the Cincinnati area is seeking an experienced Staffing Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long term care staffing and the ability to manage and coordinate schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing and support staff

Ensure appropriate staffing levels in accordance with state regulations and facility needs

Coordinate call-ins, time-off requests, shift coverage, and replacements

Communicate scheduling updates and changes clearly to staff and leadership

Maintain accurate records of attendance and staffing data

Collaborate with department heads and HR to anticipate staffing needs and support recruitment efforts

Qualifications :

Minimum 1 year of staffing experience in a long term care or skilled nursing facility required

STNA license preferred

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficient with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
