Job Description Summary

Location : Houston, TX | Hybrid Schedule : Remote Monday & Friday, In-office Tuesday-Thursday

At bp , Natural Gas Schedulers are essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of energy across our network. This role is part of the West Gas Operations Team within Trading & Shipping (T&S) Gas and Power Trading Americas (GPTA) .

What You'll Do

• Submit daily and intraday natural gas nominations to natural gas pipelines, LDC's and storage facilities using appropriate systems
• Ensure accurate flow of equity and third-party production
• Monitor and manage pipeline imbalances, storage balances, and customer balances in line with contractual terms
• Communicate market intelligence to trading and marketing teams
• Capture nominations and actualized data in ETRM (Endur)
• Maintain tariff rate charges and reconcile pipeline invoices
• Build strong relationships with pipelines, customers, and internal teams
• Partner with finance, risk, and accounting for timely and accurate reporting
• Participate in rotational weekend and holiday coverage
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across scheduling teams
