Position is hybrid- onsite expected 2 days / week

o The program is a bit hectic so they need someone who can operate in that type of environment. Need to be able to play good cop and bad cop.
They will be working with
Guidant / Accenture / DTS
so they need to be able to keep all programs in line.
Would be ideal if they have worked on a project that was implementing a
VMS (like Coupa)
Potentially could be someone who was an IT
Procurement Specialist
but has
VMS experience
Position Summary :
The IT VMO Manager is responsible for overseeing the governance, performance, and strategic alignment of IT vendors to ensure delivery of high-quality services and compliance with organizational standards.
This role acts as the primary liaison between internal IT stakeholders and external vendors, driving value through effective vendor relationships, risk management, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
Vendor Governance and Strategy
o Develop and maintain vendor management policies, processes, and performance frameworks.
o Align vendor strategies with IT and business objectives to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Contract and Compliance Management
o Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
o Monitor compliance with security, privacy, and risk mitigation standards.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
o Implement vendor scorecards and dashboards for performance tracking.
o Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Financial
Oversight
o Manage vendor budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and consolidated billing processes.
o Identify opportunities for savings through rate benchmarking and competitive bidding.
Stakeholder Engagement
o Serve as the single point of contact for vendor-related escalations and issue resolution.
o Collaborate with procurement, legal, and IT teams to ensure seamless vendor onboarding and offboarding.
Technology and Tools
o Drive automation and process improvements for vendor lifecycle management.
VMS
Implementation experience
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
7 years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or supplier governance.
Strong
knowledge of VMS tools (e.g., Coupa) and IT service delivery models.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g.,
GDPR, SOC, ISO).
