Our Principal Software Engineers work in an exciting, adaptive, and engaging environment enabling rapid learning to drive success. Our Principal Software Engineers utilize a variety of skills on a regular basis including requirements analysis, synthesis of new and existing architectures, development and delivery of high-quality mission critical software. Our Principal Software Engineers act as Subject Matter Experts for the software discipline. This position will support the shaping of the future of NC3 defense systems for the armed forces. This position is located onsite in Richardson, TX.

The salary range for this role is $101,000 - $203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
