ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a Veterinary Doctors Assistant to join our growing team!

Our Doctors Assistants work closely with our medical teams by guiding clients through their visit with ACCESS (from history taking to discharging) helping to establish the foundation for a trusting and empathetic visit. Your responsibilities may include :

• Work closely with Board Certified Specialists and Emergency DVMs
• Serve the critical role of being the liaison between doctors clients and patients
• Organize / track patient diagnostics
• Guide pet owners through discharges paperwork visits follow up questions.
• Communicate with clients referring DVMs; and pharmacies as needed regarding appointments medical concerns patient updates referrals and prescriptions

At ACCESS we recognize the importance of those individuals taking such good care of our pets and their families by offering competitive pay starting at $21 - $24 / hour (dependent upon experience).

ACCESS Los Angeles also offers shift differentials ..

Shift hours worked between :

7pm-11pm additional $2 / hour

11pm-7am additional $3 / hour

any shift on Saturdays and Sundays additional $2 / hour
