Speech Language Pathologist (New Grads Accepted) - Omaha, NE

Job Type : Full-Time

Shifts : Option : 1

Mon - 2 : 30-7 : 30

Tue / Thu - 8 : 30-7 : 30 (1 hour unpaid lunches)

Wed - 9 : 30-7 : 30 (the 1 hour lunch is paid as it is used for staff meetings as needed)

Sat - 7 : 30-12 : 30

Option 2 :

Tue / Wed / Thu - 9 : 30-7 : 30 (same as lunches above)

Fri - 11-6 : 30 (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Sat - 7 : 30-12 : 30

Role & Responsibilities :

  • Evaluation and treatment of students with autism and complex communication needs.
  • Development of goals, objectives, treatment plans and materials for the treatment.
  • speech / language and cognitive impairments; including activities, low technology AAC, etc.
  • Attendance at meetings including IEPs, weekly staffing, training / education.
  • AAC evaluations, programming and implementation.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to clients, families, and education teams.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Highly motivated to work with children with Autism and to learn the technology of speech.
  • generating devices and the application of principles from the science of learning.
  • ASHA License.
  • Speech Language Pathologist License in State NE
