A Bit About The Role

Reporting to the CIO, Imagine Communications is seeking a Director, Enterprise Applications, to join our team as the IT Enterprise Applications lead. With a required in-depth knowledge of and experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce, this position is responsible for leading the organization's efforts in optimizing and leveraging enterprise level business applications to improve operational efficiency, streamline business processes, and drive innovation.

This role involves overseeing a team of professionals, managing technology investments, and ensuring that enterprise applications align with the company's strategic goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support company growth objectives.

This role will be the IT business partner for all corporate functions and will work with those groups to develop and execute against functional technology roadmaps, support existing and future enterprise applications, and act as the primary point of contact for all topics related to IT business applications. The Director will also have primary responsibility for developing and executing against the company’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) roadmap and will be the IT owner of our future ERP environment.

Located in Plano, Texas, initially, the Director of Enterprise Applications will, out of necessity, be a very hands-on position. This will evolve over time as the IT operating model evolves.

  • Hands on functional and technical mentoring and leadership of IT applications staff
  • Provide technical leadership to IT applications development and support teams
  • Act as the IT owner for all business applications
  • Partner with key stakeholders in corporate functions to develop functional technology roadmaps and deliver projects accordingly
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between corporate functions and other groups within IT to resolve issues, align on processes and standards, and ensure awareness and alignment on key initiatives (function- or IT-sponsored). Facilitate effective IT planning, governance, and project delivery as these processes evolve.
  • Set / track clear goals and objectives for the Applications team
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Enterprise Application strategy in alignment with the organization's business objectives
  • Oversee the optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, and other enterprise level applications
  • Ensure the systems meet business requirements, compliance standards, and performance expectations
  • Prioritize projects and allocate Applications team resources
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of Enterprise application systems

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-7 years’ experience implementing / supporting Oracle Cloud ERP, specifically financial and SCM modules
  • 5-7 years’ experience with Salesforce.com
  • 3-5 years’ experience with OCI (integrations) and OTBI
  • 10+ years of experience with enterprise software and cloud solutions
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications :

  • 2-3 years’ experience with Workday HCM
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Project management and change management expertise
  • Knowledge of related cloud offerings – e.g. EPM Cloud
