As part of a development team, you will use the latest architectures and technologies in AWS to accelerate the development and adoption of data-driven software capabilities across Blue Origin in service of Blue's mission and beyond. This position requires a passion for innovation, bias for action and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities :
- Member of a full-stack software development team (Scrum)
- Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across Blue Origin
- Participate in the development and maintenance of multi-tenant SaaS applications for new and existing capabilities
- Actively participate in the different Scrum ceremonies as a team member
- Contribute to standards and best practices and coach and mentor fellow and junior engineers
- Deep dive into your users problems and partner with product managers to find and create efficient solutions
- Owning software services for supply chain
- Work with lastest AI / machine learning models and intergrate with software stack for supply chain
Required Qualifications :
Experience with Java or PythonExcellent verbal and written communications skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience as a software engineer developing with a focus on data engineering and backend developmentExperience working on a full-stack software development team in an agile development (Scrum preferred) with at least 3 years working in data engineering with relational and non-relational datastoresProven ability to learn quickly and develop creative solutions to complex problemA passion for innovation, learning and sharing knowledgeAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications :
AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate CertificationExperience working in public clouds (AWS preferred) with infrastructure-as-codeExpertise in debugging, profiling, and improving application performanceExperience in design and development of cloud native solutions, micro-services and backend systemsExperience working with in-stream data processing using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologiesAdvanced level SQL and scriptingManufacturing and / or Aerospace experienceExperience with data-intensive applications
