Division Controller – Chester, CA (On-site)

Seeking an experienced Controller to join a well established accounting department and partner with operations, resources, and leadership to drive financial success. This role oversees accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and grant management, while also providing strategic insight and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead financial reporting, budget variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation.

Manage multi-company / division financials and compliance for federal, state, and local grants.

Oversee GAAP compliance, audits, banking, cash management, and fixed assets.

Partner with operations and forestry teams on budgeting, project analysis, and contract compliance.

Supervise and mentor an Accounting Technician.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s in Accounting (or equivalent experience).

Strong accounting background with reconciliations, variance analysis, and GAAP knowledge.

Prior supervisory experience required.

Experience in manufacturing is required (5+ years preferred).

Ability to travel to Lakeview, OR and corporate office as needed.

Salary : $115K+ DOE

This is an on-site position with high visibility and impact, offering the chance to work across multiple business units and drive results.
