Job description :
The Electronics Assembly Manufacturing Planner is responsible for translating customer requirements into a detailed manufacturing plan, ensuring timely production and delivery of electronic products. They work closely with various departments to manage materials, processes, and schedules, optimizing the flow of production and meeting customer deadlines.
Key Responsibilities :
Create and update detailed manufacturing plans based on customer orders.
Ensure the availability of necessary materials, components, and tools for production, optimizing inventory levels. Maintain and review product forecasts to drive efficient inventory planning
Collaborate with engineering, production, quality control, and purchasing to address production issues and ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor progress against production schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions. Create summary reports on delivery and order statistics
Maintain open communication with Sales organizations to address questions, resolve issues, and provide timely updates on order status.
Essential Skills :
Understanding of various manufacturing techniques, equipment, and processes used in electronic systems assembly.
Ability to analyze production data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
Ability to effectively communicate with various departments and stakeholders.
Ability to carefully review and analyze production plans and schedules.
Expert knowledge of SAP planning systems, and use of MS Excel for analysis.
Review of new engineering designs, for impact on inventory, & cost containment
3-5 years' experience in scheduling and planning. Bachelor's degree in related business field preferred.
