job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFebruary 23 March 1, 2026 March 23 March 29, 2026 April 1 April 5, 2026 May 26 May 31, 2026 Patient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : Approximately 20 patients per day in clinic Admissions : Yes, hospital-based Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General urology; includes in-clinic vasectomy and infant circumcision (not required) No. of Beds in Department : 99 Trauma Level : Adult Level IV EMR System : Cerner Office Equipment Available : Disposable flexible stethoscopes Specialty Backup Available : None (solo physician coverage) Support Staff Available : 1 Physician Assistant, MAs assigned Reason for Coverage : Ongoing facility staffing support under Northern Arizona Healthcare Locums Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 30 days Orientation : Required Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered (airfare, lodging, rental car, mileage, and parking per policy) General urologic surgeries (3 4 per day) In-clinic vasectomy (optional) Infant circumcision (optional) Endoscopic and minor urologic procedures as indicated Licenses : Active Arizona medical license required (IMLC accepted; willing to license) Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology DEA : Active DEA required Certifications : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty Other Qualifications : Must complete credentialing within 7 days of receiving application; case logs and vaccination records required Provide inpatient and outpatient urology coverage Perform surgeries and in-clinic procedures as scheduled Participate in night and weekend call coverage per rotation Conduct patient consults, admissions, and follow-ups Collaborate with PA and support staff to maintain quality patient care Complete all required documentation and medical records timely in Cerner EMR Participate in credentialing, orientation, and compliance activities per facility policy
