First American is looking to add a Commercial Escrow Assistant to our team in Chicago. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Escrow team in a variety of ways including customer support and administrative duties. This position empowers our employees and customers to deliver next-generation solutions and results.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Assist in the escrow process for simple and complex commercial transactions such as preparing documents for closing, inputting closing statement information, and handling disbursement and follow-up
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process; adapts communication style as needed
• Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings
• Work with innovative technologies to process escrow transactions

WHAT YOU'LL BRING :

Pay Range : $19.82 - $26.43 hourly This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
