SUMMARY
The Billing Analyst I is responsible for ensuring complete, accurate, and timely intercompany invoicing and simplistic client billing by using reports and billing documents. The Billing Analyst I will work closely with the Sr. Billing Analyst for advice and guidance when issues arise. Successful candidates will be analytical, work well under pressure, cope with tight deadlines and possess a strong work ethic. Teamwork is essential in this role. Overtime may be required during heavy periods to meet client and monthly deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Log in items to access database and distribute accordingly
- Create, print, distribute invoices internally and mail invoices when applicable with required backup for clients, or enter into customer invoicing websites as required.
- Prepare credits and adjustments with proper documentation and authorization
- Maintain updated contact information and requirements for each account
- Responds to and investigates / resolves billing inquiries / discrepancies from internal departments and client
- Comply with Accounting department and Company rules and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
- Recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and / or improve operating efficiency of the Accounting department.
- Keep manager informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or Accounting department goals and objectives.

- Perform other related duties as assigned to achieve the goals and objectives of the Accounting department and company.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Two or Four-year college degree or equivalent combination education and experience.COMPETENCIES
