OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING! Position : Machine Shop Inspector – Level 3 Location : Clackamas, OR Pay : $30 – $35 / hour (DOE) Schedule : Day Shift | Monday – Thursday 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM | Friday 7 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 AM Who We Are : We are a manufacturer of precision machined components specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. We are expanding to a second location in Clackamas, Oregon and looking to add skilled team members who want to advance their manufacturing careers by collaborating with a diverse and talented group. What You’ll Do : Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of parts, components, assemblies, and raw materials; document and communicate inspection results. Prepare First Part and In-Process Inspection reports using precision handheld measurement tools, CMM, gauges, etc. Review customer acceptance criteria to ensure proper inspection methods and identify / document drawing or specification errors. Respond to customer requests and inquiries related to product quality. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with procedures and work instructions. Collaborate with manufacturing to prevent non-conforming products and improve processes. Create nonconformance reports and corrective actions as needed. Ensure accountability for ISO : quality system and standards; train new employees on ISO : . Set up and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), develop improvement plans, and review with management. Operate CMM and Faro Laser Tracker. What’s In It for You : Competitive pay : $30 – $35 / hour DOE Full benefits package including : (k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunity to work with a growing precision manufacturing company Supportive work environment focused on quality and continuous improvement What You Need to Have : The Musts : Extensive knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipment Strong understanding of machining and machining processes Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience running CMM with basic programming skills Good judgment and ability to make independent decisions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to learn and use company ERP systems Knowledge of ISO : and / or AS Quality Management Systems preferred Preferred : Associate’s degree in business, quality control, or related field OR Five years of experience as a quality inspector or equivalent Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to traverse the production facility for inspections Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
