Service Writer

PrideStaff is currently seeking an experienced  Service Writer  for a company in Ontario that is in the Heavy Equipment Sales and Repair industry. This is a full-time, contract-to-permanent position with an opportunity to grow. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Rate : $24-$28 (depending on experience)

Shift : Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Job Duties :   Responsible for reviewing work orders, communicating effectively with customers during all stages of service, including quoting, gaining approval of service, updating customers on the status of service, collecting payment, and scheduling field service for customers.  This is a fast-paced position that requires strong computer skills, strong organizational skills, a strong professional demeanor, and motivation to provide great customer service to our clients.

Job Requirements :

Must have experience working as a Service Writer or similar role

Must have knowledge of heavy equipment or industrial equipment (prefer farming equipment and / or automotive industry experience)

Experience working with warranty processes and service writing

Strong focus on customer service; Ability to assist customers in person and over the phone.

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Ability to take direction and work in a collaborative environment

Strong knowledge of computers

Valid driver’s license.

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
