We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Counter Sales Associate who serves as the first point of contact, whether in-person or over the phone for our customers. You will guide customers through their orders, recommend relevant products, and ensure a smooth order-to-delivery process while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a friendly greeting and assistance to walk-in and phone customers, quickly understanding and responding to their needs

Answer queries regarding will-call, special orders, deliveries, pricing, and product availability using our sales software.

Actively suggest related or complementary items to increase order value and customer satisfaction.

Professionally resolve customer concerns to build loyalty and repeat business

Assist customers with loading products into their vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient service.

Maintain an organized and clean showroom, displays, customer courtesy areas, and stock merchandising spaces.

Operate POS and order-entry systems accurately to process transactions.

Participate in HAZMAT and refrigerant handling training and follow all safety protocols during transactions.

Accurately conduct inventory cycle counts and process warranty claims for defective products.

Collaborate with teammates to meet branch sales and service goals.

Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required :

High school diploma or GED.

Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and occasionally bend or stoop comfortably

Must be at least 18 years old .

Preferred :

Experience in industrial sales or service—HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, hardware, or automotive parts

1+ year of warehouse or material-handling experience.

Proficiency with POS systems, basic computing (e.g., Microsoft Office or inventory software), and sales software.

Upselling ability and familiarity with inventory management and order processing systems.

Pay :

Hourly plus Commission
